We'd like to dedicate this trip to our four grandchildren - Quincy, Abigail, Emmitt and Oliver. May they one day grow up to become backpackers! This trip was originally scheduled in June, but snow depths at the higher elevations forced us to delay until July. The total route distance was 55.6 miles and we originally planned to spend nine days in the woods. If you click the map above, you'll be directed to a larger image which is easier to read.
