There is a short climb to reach Horse Meadow. It is getting pretty hot already. Fortunately I dunked my shirt when we crossed the river.
One thing you miss out on by not going with us is the sound of nature! Get off your duff and go for a hike!
Cherry Creek had a few cascades, but wasn't steep enough to produce any waterfalls in this area.
