We've left the Wood Lake area and currently stand at the edge of a canyon we must now work our way into. The elevation loss must be recouped before we make camp - buckle up for some work!

| One thing that just doesn't come across well in photos is the scale, depth, and steepness of some of the terrain we travel through. I was hoping a few movies might help. In reality, if you don't come out to places like this at least a few times in your life, you're missing something that cannot be adequately described in photos, videos, or words. | ||
