The next morning I get a little breakfast cooking on the new stove. The stove worked very well and I'm very pleased with it. I now hope to put it into the camping room and avoid using it for at least another 6 years. Stoves are worth packing only if there are fire restrictions. If I camp above treeline (9000ft in Hoover and Emigrant Wilderness or 9600ft in Yosemite), or if they ban fires due to dry conditions, I'll carry the stove. Otherwise it serves absolutely no purpose whatsoever.

After breakfast we set out to explore the coastline of Letora Lake.

Letora Lake has several rock islands.
