Our first look at Kennedy Lake.
Kennedy Lake reminds me of a kite, with the exit stream the tail.
The further we go down, the steeper the trail gets and it rapidly changes from dirt to loose rock and shale. This cascade on the opposite side of the canyon sounded like it was right next to us. The granite backdrop helped the sound travel our way.
