Yosemite Spring 2006
Greetings and welcome to this year's first web update. As many of you know, we spent nearly a week hiking in the Yosemite backcountry last September. Afterwards we stayed a few days in the valley at Curry Village. I had originally invited mom and dad to join us while we recouped. Unfortunately my dad hurt his back and they had to cancel. When we got back, Andra and I scheduled this trip just for them.
We left May 18th knowing the heavy winter was producing spectacular waterfalls, but even so, I was shocked by the amount of water and the shear force of nature.
