Arriving at the bridge below Vernal Falls, the morning light is not good for picture taking. The best time to hike to Vernal or Nevada Falls is in the evening. More than half of Vernal Falls is obscured by the trees on the left.
Down stream of the bridge the water rages. The shear force shakes the bridge as Walt and I inspect the bridge construction. It's amazing it can withstand this kind of punishment.
Walking up the Mist Trail, I snapped this picture from near the river. The intense mist makes it a bit hard to see anything.
