From here you can almost see the bottom of the falls and it actually looks like the ground slopes the wrong way behind the falls. Perhaps water really does run up hill. I'm sure Klaus could dispel this myth since he's had more practice debating why it doesn't actually occur.

We drove up HWY 120 to get a view of some cascades running down to and under the road. I took this picture looking east up the valley. You can see Sentinel Dome at the back left and Bridalveil in the middle.
