The center sports some impressive wildlife exhibits among other things. Black bear skull left. Grizzly bear skull middle. One of these bears is known to eat the other. You guess which.
On the way back to camp I pulled over to photograph Yellowstone River. It was so swollen this year (2011) the islands are underwater.
The next day we hiked out toward the Lone Star Geyser. This is of course the Firehole river.
