Scientists measure the ground movement inside the park and plot the elevation change using different colors. The ground literally breaths. The magma plume swells up raising the earth's crust and then sags again. Looking at this map, I wonder where the big magma plume is located? If only the scientists could make it more obvious for the lay person by drawing a bullseye or something. |

We spotted a couple of grizzly bears while driving around. Not the best close up, but easier than spotting Jay for sure. | ||
