The gun on the bottom is massive. This is a French Wheellock hunting gun made for King Louis XIII. Caliber .80

This gun is one of thirty-four similar arms kept in Louis XIII's personal gun collection. Very unwieldy at 6 feet 8 inches and 26 pounds, this gun was used for long range hunting supported by a forked rest that would be driven into the ground.

If you are into firearms, this is a must see museum.
