When I heard that Amanda and Callie had been anticipating the lunar eclipse but clouds were obstructing their view in Sacramento, I decided to take some photos just for them. As it turns out, I hadn't checked the time on my camera in quite a while. Due to daylight savings time and normal drift, the "taken" time is off by about 1hr 4min. This picture was taken at approximately 11:23pm PST. It was exposed to show detail on the light side only.
Here at 11:28pm PST, I've brought up the exposure to begin showing the detail on the eclipsed part of the moon.

This 1 second exposure shows a bit more detail on "the dark side."
