The trail rises steeply from Wheeler. Looking back toward Wheeler you can get a good look at the California coast line.

The trail peaks out right over the coast line and gives us some magnificent views. I swear with that hat smashed back, Jay looks like one of those tough Mexican guys in the old westerns. He just needs a cross of bullets on his chest.
