If Jay looks hot, it is because we've just come up eight to nine hundred vertical feet to reach this perch.

The marine layer obscured some of the distant coastline, but you can see our tents in the lower right hand part of this photo.

Looking right over the edge of the cliff you can see the churn near shore. The waves are stirring up a great deal of sand.
