Andra got another perspective here as I crossed over. If the broken branch stub under my foot were to break, it wouldn't be pretty.
To give you another look at the trail conditions, I walked on ahead and photographed Brian and Andra coming up the trail behind me.
We stopped next to this giant banana slug to have lunch. The moist conditions are well suited to them as we saw lots along the way.
