Beautiful Kerrick Meadow. It shouldn't be anywhere near this dry in early June. In fact, it should be under some snow. Tired, we soldier on to the far end where we'll cut through those pine trees, up and over into another meadow.
Now in the second meadow looking back, this is one of the exit streams coming out of Peeler Lake. It meanders along in all kinds of crazy bends for miles.
Our final camp spot. There are no campfires allowed around Peeler Lake and Peeler is just inside the Hoover Wilderness where fires have been banned for the season, so we camped about a third of a mile a way inside the national park. When you remove those hideous sun glasses, she's really cute!
