This is the same stream near our camp the next morning. It got below freezing at night. Our Camelbak tubes were frozen and there were frozen ponds and ice crystals everywhere.
Andra took a picture of the ice that formed on this pond over night.
When we arrived yesterday, I needed/wanted a shower, but between exhaustion and the 20mph winds with 30mph gusts, we both decided to pass. Here I am preparing to wash up in the creek and change into some fresh clothes. If you don't wake up until you've had your coffee in the morning, let me tell you, your coffee has nothing on that stream.
