The view is so beautiful, even the Allen Eskuri honorary chairs are enjoying it.

I've cut up some firewood for the evening and the PCT trail is just behind our tent (perhaps 50ft). Several through hikers passed us as we relaxed in camp, but none of the PCT folks camped at Dorothy. In fact, we were totally alone at each of our five campsites. It is important to take care of your feet when hiking long distances. I've switched to my water shoes to allow my boots and feet to dry. You'll also notice the wind pushing in the side of the tent. This gentle breeze kept the mosquitoes at bay for our entire stay at Dorothy Lake.

Our first campfire of the trip. We've already cooked and eaten dinner. The observant reader will notice the tea bag tag sitting on top of our pot. We already have two bags of tea brewing up a batch in our remaining hot water. Temps are cool, but comfortable. Winds are light but a few random gusts prompted me to put a rock on the pot lid.
