On the way back we again were fortunate to avoid any grizzlies, but we did spot this moose. Yet another animal you don't want to tangle with.
The clouds were a sign of things to come. The next morning we woke to snow. Little did we know that this system was going to be the coldest system to hit this area in recorded history (for September).
When it is 25 degrees outside, you need to get some calories into those old bones.
