Andra love's nothing more than watching seals. We headed up to Crescent City today and planned to check out the Battery Point Lighthouse. |

This is just north of the harbor. There was a short trail (loaded with poison oak), that took you up to a high rock outcropping. |

Here is the lighthouse from across the harbor. The lighthouse is built on an island, so it had some significant challenges for the first occupants. For example, no fresh water, etc. |
