Here you can see a bit more of the harbor before we left our poison oak infested view point.

The lighthouse is maintained by volunteers and is in very good shape. The original building was built by Mason's and the walls are 1.5ft thick. The wall thickness completely blocks the sound of the sea. From inside the house, you cannot hear the crashing waves outside.
