Our first stop is Middle Falls on the McCloud river. Heading toward Mt. Shasta, I pondered what the road construction crews must have sighted on to make the road so straight. The hike to Middle Falls is a short 10 minute walk. For practically zero effort, you are rewarded with a spectacular view.
