The first of the three bears walked down river a ways and then crossed to our side. He eventually swam back to the other shore. The next largest bear came down and stared at us from the other bank also, but he too walk down the opposite bank to join this guy. The smallest bear wasn't brave enough to come down to the shore and climbed his way through the thick brush to rejoin his brothers.
Andra takes a picture of me watching the bears continue down river. The bears were initially trying to cross to my left and slightly behind me.
After the bears cleared the area, we relaxed around the fire.
