All of the bridges on the trail ahead have been destroyed by the spring runoff, but our super competent government is working to fix them. At least that's what the 12-year-old ranger told us when we passed him. Something about one of the bridges being beyond their competence level and needing a private contractor, bids, environmental impact studies, the need for 10,000 dollar hammers and a Hunter Biden kickback, bla, bla bla. Sorry I tuned him out after he said all the bridges were out.
