What maniac slipped that inch+ hand-cut ribeye in my pack?!! Vacations are about fun and good eats. Carrying that pound and a half behemoth to over 9000 feet was well worth it. Although I knew we were heading to an old cattlemen's camp, I didn't know a cabin was here. The cabin is in terrible shape as it has been taken over by the unproductive government. Full of rat droppings, holes through the walls, trash and equipment left to rust or degrade outside, this is a true testament to government socialists. Back when the land was used for productive purposes, no cattleman would destroy his own equipment by not properly stowing it. On the other-hand, if the taxpayers are on the hook, who cares. We found canvas cots half sticking out of the snow and many other pieces of gear littered all around this historic building. The forest service has been slowly removing the fence wire as they prefer to see these area's burn rather than get grazed. The amount of equipment and trash around this place was truly staggering, and to make sure you knew who was responsible, they plastered "Property of the US Government" on it. |

Disgusting socialists aside, I enjoy watching my garlic and pepper marinated ribeye sizzling on the open fire. |

Environmentalist wackos, avert your eyes. For everyone else - a thing of beauty. |
