| Today we go up the creek without a paddle. Our plan is to follow the creek toward the headwaters. After the long hike in with big packs, we wanted a relaxing mostly flat day of fun. The creek splits up there with one leg coming down from the canyon on the left and the main channel coming down from the right channel on the right (near my head). We will be heading up the right canyon. The headwaters should be only a few miles away as these are box canyons. | ||

| We've reached Dawg's favorite thing, and he immediately drops and starts making snow angels. Dawg enjoys the simple things, a good reminder to us all. | ||
