With years of practice, finding obscure, lightly used trails is not generally difficult. I quickly found what little remained of it, but following the trail precisely once it is covered in snow isn't possible.

Dawg walks through the stream below. Remember those ice bridges? Yep, shortly after this picture was taken, I took my eye off him for just a second and he fell through one. His butt stuck below with his front legs trapped on the top. He was struggling, but unable to free himself. I headed across the snow to assist when he successfully reamed the hole big enough with his attempts to hop out. It is important to watch kids/dogs as they always lack situational awareness.
