Hiking along Rush Creek is spectacular. We met a group of four women (our age or older) from Michigan, hiking to Whitney. They came in from Silver Lake like we did, but were planning to hike 211 miles over three weeks to reach Mt. Whitney. So the next time one of my younger friends tells me what we do is just too hard - pussies!
