Waugh Lake is now Waugh stream. There is no water in it at all. Rush Creek wanders through the bottom. We will hike to the top of the tree line of those mountains in the distance and then turn right toward Donohue Pass. The tree line you see there is only 10,000 feet elevation.
There are many creeks to cross and to avoid taking our boots off we use tree bridges whenever possible.
