Dawg sleeps through my base camp report.
It was 11.5 miles over two days for the humans to reach base camp. The canine walked much further and was exhausted. He enjoyed the smell of mom as he napped on her shirt, pants and sports bra - oh my!

The next day... wait, wait, wait! He's still asleep! Yes, Dawg woke us up at his customary 6 to 6:30am, but spent much of the day relaxing. Later in the day we planned to just wander around close to camp and give him a chance to recover.
