This picture gives you a better idea of what we are up against. Braving the 30-40MPH winds, we must follow the trail over that distant mountain range.
In front of Evelyn Lake, I took a shot of the dramatic mountains behind her.
Having reached the top of the distant mountains, I took a picture down into Lyell Canyon. The temperature is beginning to drop and the wind speed is increasing.
