All new comers to Yosemite have to take this route to the top of the view point. Later we show them the gentle rolling foot path to the top. It is over 3000 feet to the valley floor from here, so participants are encouraged to keep a firm grip.
We've walked over to Sentinel Dome for the traditional picture under the tree. This tree died during the drought of 1977.
On the way back from Sentinel Dome we posed for a picture on the bridge.
