We've reached Half Dome. Yes, you guessed it. Those are the dreaded cables leading to the top. You can see many people repelling down as still others make there way up.
The three of us stopped for this picture before braving the finally climb.
In this photo you can see just how far up you have to go (roughly 600ft). There are portions that are nearly vertical.
