Ruby lake, nestled in at about 10,000ft, is pristine and colorful.
Rick filters more water while we have a snack at Ruby Lake.
A backpacking club with 7th and 8th graders were preparing to make camp here and go for their daily "mandatory" swim. I mentioned to their leader that with all that snow melting into the back of the lake, I'm glad I'm not in his group!
