After driving off the highway, we reached the Umpqua River Lighthouse. It's quite a formidable building to stand next to.

Andra captured this picture of the lighthouse lens. Her camera offers the easy of one button zooming. On my camera, I have limited focal length adjustments and must switch lenses to use my zoom lens. Laziness and a desire to avoid getting addional dust on the image sensor often prevents me from bothering. To cheat, I cropped my photo at the top of this page to make it look like I had taken a zoomed in version. You can see the cropped version by mousing over this image. I know. I'm a slacker.
