Here at the wishing well in front of the gift shop at the Eternal Tree House I snapped this last picture before we turned back. It was a long and tiring day with hundreds of miles of driving. The scenery was spectacular and the drive back down HWY 1 was accompanied by rain showers. When we reached camp the rain had stopped, but most evenings in camp were quite windy.
Wednesday we just stayed around camp and relaxed. Callie got to see her very first abalone when Larry from the camp next to us was kind enough to let her watch as he cleaned them.
Thursday morning Bailey and Amanda cleaned out their tent as we prepared to leave.
As is fitting for the last picture, the sun sets on our little getaway. We returned to the troubles of daily life in Sacramento with only the memories of our adventure to the beautiful coastline.
Until next time, I hope as always you enjoyed the pictures and the memories.
