After leaving Middle Velma, we hiked up the trail spur to Upper Velma. Upper Velma is a relatively small lake with a large rock island in the middle.
This is Upper Velma with the wide-angle lens. The large rock island is directly in front of me. There is about as much water behind the island as you see on this side.
A final look at Upper Velma before we left. Dick's Peak can be seen in the distance.
