| In this picture, you can see Half Moon Lake (right), Susie Lake (left at base of hill), and Lake Aloha center. Our original plan had us hiking to Gilmore Lake (not shown), Susie Lake, Heather Lake (not shown), and finally Lake Aloha in the back. Unfortunately, we ran a bit short on time and didn't make Heather and Lake Aloha. This of course leaves a great excuse to go back! On our return, we plan to come in through the Echo Lakes trailhead, which is the fastest way to Lake Aloha. This route is also peppered with other small lakes to see. |
