Near the base of this impressive formation, we stopped for lunch.
As we continued further we found this old stash. Built completely of rock (including the roof), this empty structure likely contained supplies for an outpost many years ago. The pole was placed to make it easier to find. A galvanized steal sheet was used for the door.
