There was a wild fire up the valley from us and the smoke was really starting to blow in as we accelerated our departure. You can see it in the top of this picture.
No birthday
would be complete without a blast from the past. Finally the definitive
proof that Andra was cute even as a little kid. This is Andra at three
years old. Thanks go to Andra's parents for sending me this picture for my
birthday. (they hadn't invented color film waaay back then :) ).
