This is a look east up Little Yosemite Valley towards Merced Lake. These valley's were carved during the ice age by massive glaciers.
Here I am near the summit of Clouds Rest. It wasn't exactly what I was expecting. I was expecting the ground to gradually come up the back side (left) and then drop steeply into Yosemite Valley. In reality, the peak drops off like crazy in both directions. Walking up the granite slabs is a bit unnerving and not recommended to those afraid of heights. Any wrong move at the top, would result in certain death.
