Another photo of us on the boardwalk. It's actually a plastic walk. The boards are made from recycled plastic. The acidic air rots the plastic at a slower rate than real wood.

Looking across at the old lodge. To reduce the likelihood that a forest fire would burn the historic building, it is equipped with huge pipes on the roof to flood the building's exterior with water and is covered with lightning rods all over the peaks and edges.
