Traffic jams in most cities occur when too many people are using the road. In Yellowstone, they are generally caused by animals. In this case three bison decided to walk up the road.
A mother grizzly bear and her two cubs. The fuzzy picture is due to the distance and high winds. I'm using my 400mm lens on a tripod, but the high winds are shaking the whole camera. This photo was also cropped by half to better enlarge the bears. The best place to observe grizzly bears in Yellowstone is... from a great distance. :)
The next day we hit the road to explore a new section of the park. This is beautiful Gibbon Falls.
