One final look before the poncho came out and we stopped taking pictures. It only sprinkled a little before reaching the car, but as we were packing gear into the vehicles it started to hail like crazy. We timed our exit perfectly.

Our new hikers learned many things during their weekend trip. My hope is that they will soon be ready to take safe and comfortable trips on their own.
