I really liked this formation. It looks like someone holding up two fingers. Heaven forbid the index finger ever breaks off! I'm sure the park service would be forced to bulldoze it because someone somewhere "might" be offended.
Zoomed back a bit, you can see just how far the "nearly" obscene rock formation is from the road. I heard that after my web pictures went up, someone started circulating a petition to have it torn down. They claim, after reading this page, they keep imagining the structure without the index finger and are very offended...
An even wider view from the road. Despite the ugly vegetation, the mountains are really quite lovely. That sentence reminds me of the Fire Swamp from The Princess Bride.
