We then drove up to a vista point, but the weather was not cooperating. Despite the rain, we got out for a photograph and to read the informational signs.

The next day the weather was a bit better. We mostly just drove around and only stepped out of the car to take the occasional photo. The process was exhausting. I don't know how you "non-outdoors" people do this strenuous kind of sightseeing! ;)

Some formations are strikingly more red than others.
