Our exit point is at Silver Lake in the June Lake Loop. The trail out takes us right by the Gem Lake dam and along Agnew Lake and its dam. |

Looking back the way we came, our camp was over that near rise and to the left. We are staring towards Waugh Lake, but it is blocked by the low hills in front of the camera. The clouds have temporarily cleared and we are making good time. With all the gear packed and dry, it no longer matters if it starts raining. |

Standing to the left of the Gem Lake dam, you can see Agnew Lake and the small dam at its end. The trail we are using to exit can be seen on the far left. |
