When we started at the bottom of that canyon, you couldn't even see the ski resort runs. Now they are directly across from us. The trail is fairly steep and climbs rapidly from here until we cross a small saddle. Tony was really feeling it by the time we got this high. The trail is a great quad workout. | ||
Andra torturing the dog. Yes, squirting the dog in the eye with your camelbak tube is animal cruelty! Where is some nut job from PETA or the SPCA when you need them! Surely a ticket was in order. What I found amazing, was how quickly Georgia discovered it was easier to drink out of the bottle we brought for her rather than licking it out of a bowl. |

Tony's legs wore out cresting the saddle after a very steep section of trail, but James and TJ soldiered on with us until we had reached the summit. This is Upper and Lower Echo Lakes. Those islands in Upper Echo Lake are pretty good size, but everything looked tiny from here. There are also homes and cabins around the lake, but at this distance they blend right in. |
