We arrived in Wheeler with enough time to make camp before dark, but didn't take any photos the first night. This photo was taken the next day (July 5th) and you can see a couple of our tents and the beach access.
We took it easy the first day to let everyone (... Jay) recover. The weather was great and we didn't have any mosquito issues.
