This is looking up the river from the Bridge. Looking the way Andra was looking in the picture on the prior page.

Up at this elevation, you often get sweeping mountain vistas in all directions. We still have a long way to go to reach Dorothy Lake. We "planned" on hiking to Dorothy for night two so that we could have fires. Even if the Hoover Wilderness had not been closed to fires due to the drought, fires are not allowed above 9000 feet. In Yosemite, they are not allowed above 9600ft. All the lakes just prior to Dorothy are in the Hoover Wilderness and are above 9000ft.

Now here is the kind of stream crossing I like. We probably crossed over 100 streams if you count small ones like this.
